CANiK M3 is the ultimate .50 cal. machine gun which is adapted to the requirements of the modern battlefield where mobility and speed of mechanized and air mobile units have increased during the last 40 years. It is specifically designed to have a very high rate of fire to produce the necessary instantaneous and accurate volume of fire from and onto fast moving and maneuverable vehicles. Therefore, it is especially suited for use as a crew served door gun on utility and special forces’ helicopters as well as and in gun pods for light attack aircrafts and helicopters. Moreover, depending on the operational conditions and threat levels, it may be the right choice for arming the RCWS on UGV and USVs.
